Here's a guitar with nice volume, nice balance and clear, ringing separation... all in all a very satisfying sound. The strings are D'Addario EJ46 (hard), not yet fully played in.

The soundboard on S-106 is Engelmann spruce; the body is Indian rosewood. I often trim my instruments in black and white, and in this case the effect is quite bold.

There are minor blushes discernable under the mirror finish. (find them in the "side view.") Because of these the price is $2,300. Without the blushes S-106 would price out at $2,850
