Body is of spectacular curly
mahogany. Changing ambient
light seems to make the mahogany
shimmer. Soundboard is Canadian
Engelmann spruce with a
matte finish; fingerboard,
ebony; tuners, Schaller.
The sound of #121 is what I
would call sweet; less staccato
than most spruce-top guitars.
Sustain, balance and separation
are all pleasing.
The scale length is 654 mm., my
standard.
The neck at the nut is just
under 52 mm. wide.
The low E string clears the the
12th fret by just over 4mm., and
the action is nice and soft.
